Q. I selected low quality. Why do my images still take so long to upload?
A. When you upload a new image it gets uploaded to our servers just like it is on your computer. The quality is set when you or someone else views the image. If you want your images to upload to our servers faster you may want to scale them down in width and height before you upload them.
Q. How can I upload full size images and How can I make my images upload faster?
A. You can upload full size images by unchecking the resize button on the image upload page.
To make your images upload faster scale them down in size with an image editing program before you upload them.
Q. How do I post a picture into a MySpace Blog?
A. After choosing your image in the Image Manager highlight the code by clicking on copy below where you see HTML for this image.Open a second internet browser window, log in to your MySpace page and go to your blog. Click on the 'Post New Blog' link.Click the 'View Source' check box.Paste the 'Tag' code into the 'Body' window. Select the position in the window where the image is to be inserted. Click the right mouse button once and select 'Paste'.You can also enter text in this window either before or after the 'Tag' code. You must also enter a Subject. Click 'Post' to complete the entry. Your new entry will display on your MySpace page!
Q. How many folders can I have?
A. With an upgraded plan you can have an unlimited amount of folders with unlimited images within a folder. Also, included are features like 360* Spin and Slideshows !
Q. How do I post a picture gallery for my Ebay auction?
A. After uploading your images and creating your folder into your Freeimagezone account choose the folder you wish to use in your auction from Create A Gallery and click create.Highlight the code you wish to use by selecting copy. You can also click on "View This Gallery" to see of how it will look.Log into your eBay account, and open the 'Sell' menu. When you get to the point of entering your 'Item Description', click the 'Enter your own HTML' tab.Right click your mouse in this window and select 'Paste'. Your HTML codes will show up in the window. If you wish to add text description, you can do it here as well. You can preview the 'Item Description' by clicking the 'Preview description' link.When you are happy with how it looks, click the 'Continue' button and complete the rest of your listing.
Q. Why are my images renamed?
A. If your filenames on your images are too long they are shortened when uploading them. If you have already uploaded a file with the same name as the one you are currently uploading we assign a 4 digit number to the beginning of your file so that you don't over-write the file that you uploaded before.
Q. What type of files can I host?
A. You can host JPG, GIF and PNG files. If you need support for other file types please contact us and we may be able to add support for them.
